What's New?
RECA Earthquake Relief Fund for China, 2008
RECA is as distressed as the rest of the world over the terrible catastrophe in China. To assist, we are collecting donations to aid in the recovery of the devastated areas. Our own member, Sandy Sullivan, is from Cheng Du, the hardest hit city. For many years, she was on the faculty of the Cheng Du University Nursing Department. Like the rest of this area, the university needs to be totally rebuilt.
100% of donations to the RECA Earthquake Relief Fund will go directly Cheng Du University Nursing Department in Du Jiang Yan, Sze Chuan Province, PRC. Sending the money directly to a specific location ensures 100% use by the people in need. We thank you for your donations to help rebuild this credible institution of higher learning. By educating nurses, we help all those who are injured to more quickly heal and resume their daily lives.
Please make checks out to RECA with a note in the lower right corner that it is for the Earthquake Relief. You will receive a receipt for your tax deductible donation. RECA is asking Cheng Du University Nursing Department for an accounting of what the money is used for. When we receive it, we will announce the confirmation of use to all who donated.
Please send checks to RECA PO Box 7854, Santa Rosa, CA 95407. Thank you very much.
